Lest ye forget.....

The same set of lying thugs that had been slipped the leash 12 months earlier with the blessing of the state. They had had plenty of practice. No doubt there would have been plenty of falsified police reports that day as well. Even down to the claim of throwing unlit petrol bombs and denying media access.

Policing was like that in N Ireland at one time, sorted these days. ;)
I remember the firat time I went to Northern Ireland ... bit strange seeing police with machine guns at the entrance to shopping centres in Belfast and all bags searched. Then had the army roadblocks on the country roads to stop random cars and anyone turning round had their tyres shot out.

I remember the story about a Belfast gang who were being watched by the Police.

One night 4 of the gang got into the car and headed for the border, the Police followed in an unmarked car but didn't stop them as they had done nothing wrong yet.

They followed them for miles and were running short of petrol, the gang then pulled into a layby, 2 of them got out, one opened the fuel cap and the other got a huge jerry can out of the boot and replenished the tank. With that they gave the Police a cheery wave and carried on knowing that the Police would run out of petrol soon and they could get on with their 'business'.

Two of us used to go over there with work in the 90s. I think 1993 was the first time I went to Belfast. It was a bit daunting getting off the ferry and seeing all the armoured vehicles, machine guns and the like. I did see a building get stormed and a flash bang grenade get used. It was bizarre. I was wondering round just shopping and the street seemed to clear. People scurried off like they knew something was about to happen. I just stood there bewildered not giving any sh*ts and eating my sandwich when a convoy of armoured vehicles came screaming down the road and stormed this building. Two minutes later out they came, bundled some "suspects" into the vehicles and stormed off again.

We loved Belfast though and always had a good time there.

The Police seem to have gone from one extreme to the other these days. I suppose they had to when they changed from a 'Force' to a 'Service'.

Mainly calm here now except for the odd nutter, police have been calmed down, a customer of mine now dead told me tyhe north is signed over to the south and thats why calm now and army all gone, he was in the sas and sate at the secret table with ira and unionists forces and told me never to open my gob untill his passing.
The british have all the paperwork sorted for the handover and sutheren ireland is now doing the same.
Problem is as he told me the loyalist groups did not put forward a strong case and will be left behind.
They should have set a paper up demanding a new irish flag and disolve the old irish soldures song & a new flag and anthum, then ask for duel natanality passports for all in ireland and a handshake to Gb with a council of the islands set up. may be a long time to fully sorted but its in the pipeline.
Wont bother me one bit as by then i will be long gone.
Maybe a job for our boris on here as new head of state. 😂

They get braver by the day. If they had waited ten mins he would have nodded off. A 92year old one legged man in a wheelchair with a butter knife. 22days later he is dead.

Absolutey shocking😡

The poor guy probably had dementia or similar and had no real mental awareness of the situation.
The 'big brave' copper in the stab vest could have easily darted in and grabbed the old guys arm.
Or the woman pc in the stab vest could have used pillows to protect herself as she went in to grab his arm.
They didn't need to use that level of violence in that situation.
Absolute scum. 😡

They`ll both probably recieve a Bravery Medal for their actions is such a dangerous situation.

That`ll be after they`ve gone through the mental health councilling and surviving a life threatening event.

P.S.

For anyone that has gone through it the look on the poor guys face who clearly has dementia says it all.

Orgreave, the miners were treated terribly by Thatcher. This country should be ashamed off what was done to them, I am.

Those 2 Officers have been cleared of any offence.

At the same time, Dorset Police have sacked a long serving Officer for "not showing respect and courtesy" while arresting a teenager armed with a knife while being surrounded by a gang of other teenagers. This was despite an independent witness seeing what was happening and dialling 999 to inform the Police that one of their Officers was in urgent need of assistance.

I could show you the actual footage on YT but Admin would take it down due to its source. But it is out there if you look for it.

I did read he did have dementia.

I may not have been so bad if that sort of policing had ended with the end of the miners strike but it didn't and was encouraged and is still alive and well if you are from the wrong demography. As has been shown many times since.

The two in the care home and their treatment of the 92 year old just beggars belief in any sort of a civilised society. They were under no threat whatsoever and if they thought they were then they are in the wrong job. When she tasered someone at 92 she did not care whether he lived or died or she wouldn't have done it. There was plenty of other option available for both of them.
They would have fit right in with Auschwitz guards.

Orgreave is not over and done with yet. though numbers are rapidly diminishing now. Governments play the long game waiting until all involved are dead

Just post the link and not the vid. People don't have to click it . You can send it to me if you want.

Just watched the police body cam footage that Dorset police released. It's edited and has audio redacted. Why would they do that if they were not trying to skew the footage one way or another. Why not show the whole encounter.
