Leisure batteries in Belgium?

Hi all. We are currently in Belgium in a 30ft Winnebago and are carrying two dud batteries by the looks of things. They dont appear to have too many stores that sell leisure batteries - they are all car batteries. Does anyone know of a chain that might sell such a beast. We have drawn a blank so far with the locals. We are currently in Gent on the way to Antwerp. It is 21 July 2009. Cheers Steve

Don't know if these will help:

Battery Supplies N.V.
Lindestraat 89A, Waregem, Belgium 87
Tel: 0032 (0)56 617 977
Battery Supplies

NV Battery Service Belgium SA
Rue De La Science Zi 25, Villers Le Bouillet, Belgium B 4530
Tel: 0032 4 376 79 46

I think they are major suppliers but I believe they do retail as well.

These also came up in a search:

Batterijen de Munter
Staakskenstraat 16
9000 Gent
Tel: 09 226 28 30

Aims BVBA
Kerkstraat 108
9050 Gentbrugge (Gent)
Tel: 09 272 79 38

http://goldenpages.truvo.be/ is quite good for looking this sort of thing up in Belgium,

Good luck!

How did you get on?

Hi

This happened to us in France. We managed to find a Poudes Lourds (heavy vehcile) place that did repairs batteries etc. and purchased 2 100w heavy duty batteries. They work fine (put them in line l;ike I had the leisure ones).

We are still using them, but when they die will will buy 2 Elicsol's which we have always used before. They charge up like a waggon battery but give out like a leisure. 8 yrs. old they were when they died.

Hi
I had 2 Elicsol's 110amp batteries die on within the first year of use ,try getting a refund off Elicsol (blood out of a stone ) comes to mind.
