Bought these the other day from Amazon....

Big BIG improvement over the previous fitments....

Nice and bright (at least in cool white/daylight)
And look fairly well made.... Though they MAY not fit in ultra slimline fittings....
Fine in our spotlights AND the ones that look like Douglas Hurds hair....
Not in the uber slim under kitchen cabinet ones though.

I prefer the soft white in my 3 front spots, my main lights have both with a changeover switch, I bought all mine from kungfu man ebay. 😂

I have taken out most of my LED G4s and fitted Halogen versions. fed up with the constant flickering of the individual cells failing on and off.
I also found that they looked a bit silly as oversized for the fittings.

As above.... No issues so far with these Barring one single stupidly slimline fitting

Have had them fitted for the past year and no problems so far, tempting fate!

Many thanks for the tip. I went for the warmer white ones, (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07C98BZMH/) and found them a huge improvement to the similarly priced ones I bought a few years ago. They are brighter than the ones I bought a few years ago and just slightly dim rather than flicker when the water pump is running, for example. However, they are too large in diameter to fit fully inside the spotlights in my washroom as they foul the translucent 'glass', which must be removed to use these.

Yup I had the same issue with the slimline ones in the kitchen
