Well here we go,our daughter has just been home,Cornwall, for the last month,we are based in Holland & as myself & my wife are both retired now, the family want us to end our days with them in Cairns, Australia...I put it to my misses & offcourse she said yes...I said OK. on 1 condition, WE DRIVE THERE. after much deliberation she said, right lets do it.
so any of you guys any experience in long haul journeys...routes, countries etc. I,m looking to buy a Hymer 694 tag axel, S700, or a Merc on a 410 chassis, or maybe a bus..I am a retired mechanic...fitting of larger water & deseil tanks etc. any advise would be much appreciated.

well hi , you state that last big adventure , wow i would have thourgt it would be one hell of a first adventure you must be well traveled. i cannot help you with the route but i think there are one or two members from down under on here and at least one of them is well traveld all i can say is enjoy your trip and good luck ,i am shure you will get more than a few pointers from other members
