Hi , hope you can help a newbie

Electric step to cabin has stopped working . Is there anything I should check before getting back in touch with dealer ? You guys seemto know so much more !

nice to here from you again
you say your electric step as stoped working ?
does it work work o.k from the internal swicth o.k but does not retract when you start the engine --- if so the fault is the micro switch on the under side of the step all it needs is a sray of w,d 40 and work it a few times with your finger ,Regards Keith&Wendy

It doesnt work from internal switch al all but is stuck retracted ,.I will try what you say anyway .

What about a little tap with a big hammer ?
