Kintyre's 'Route 66'

Don’t see how anywhere in the UK should be compared to Route 66, to start with there’s no dessert, no straight roads for miles and no Turkey foot prints or dead towns with a whale.

Kintyre is horrible and you should ALL stay away, the West Coast has nowt worth the effort, go to Spain guys, or France, Morocco’s good.

Midge’s carry covid, everyone knows that, Jocks shoot at Motorhome’s to relieve boredom, wild haggis attack at night, you can’t sleep for bloody bag pipes.

It snows in Summer, it’s awful ok.

Oh and I’ve just bought a house there, so bugger off ok.

Aye your right it’s no fun being a prisoner in your own house when the midge is bad.

Great idea for promoting the area and bringing in tourism and business. By next year every layby will have a no overnight parking sign and the locals will be writing to the press complaining about visitor numbers and poor access etc...

Or, maybe I'm just a cynic

The little roads down the east side of the peninsula are magical, though can be a bit tight with a big van...
