Hi everyone

We're relatively new to campervanning and love the idea of wild camping, but just wondered how people get on with their little ones too. We have a 3yr old daughter who loves being in our camper so I'm trying to reassure myself we don't need to be on sites with lots of kids stuff and that she'll be more than happy spending time with us playing games etc.

Are you just more wary where you park up? I was thinking pub stop overs might make me feel a bit safer but wondered what others think/do?

I did succumb to being a full member last night and after lots of faffing with the POI file fathomed it in the end :D

having travelled a lot with at first 1 and eventually 4 kids in vans i highly recommend the outside world as having massive play value for any child with imagination and imaginative parents.by a river,in the woods on beaches up mountains, piles of road gravel in laybys and plenty of paper and crayons for bad weather, how could any kid get bored, and the beauty of it is you'll start seeing things through kids eyes and find fun in things you wouldn't normally notice. i could get quite lyrical! as for parking up,i hardly ever worried about it,and if the place felt dodgy i'd leave.but as you do it more it gets easier of course
