I couldn't find the thread but a while a go there was a thread about Karcher Window vacs that went off on a tangent regarding whether or not you could charge one by USB and I promised to give it a try 
Well I struggled finding the correct plug for the Karcher end so was unable to pursue it any further, until the other day when my charger stopped working, I proceeded to cut off the plug and lead, I then joined it to a spare USB cable and plugged it into my Karcher and using my mobile charger the Karcher was charged up in a couple of hours! So the short answer is, yes you can charge a Karcher Window via USB I'm sure it would take a lot longer using a 12v USB adapter but non the less should at least keep it charged if you don't run it down too low.
