As title :cry:
Any others taken the same decision?
Looks like Europe could be off limits for the rest of the year, not that I had plans.
Hope it's not too long before we can get out and about.
 
coming up to a month SORNed. £15 saved is £15 saved.
As far as needing to be able to use the vehicle at short notice, takes 5 minutes to retax on line and it is instantly taxed so can't see that as a real obstacle.
 
I have no intention of sorning mine, I don't pay road tax and I would still pay for insurance so there is nothing to save.
My car is our daily driver so not an option and Maggy's road tax is £30 so not worth bothering in my opinion

When did your MOT run out?, you might have got the six month extension, you can check here

Not sorted any of our vehicles and not cancelled any ins ,could not cancel the vw as I’m still working and that’s what u use ,the o h Renault ain’t much tax plus she is front line nhs
camper I won’t worn it but I am in a better position than most and still earning
 
Did read elsewhere of some who sorn'ed last month who where paying by DD still had their money taken even though their vehicle was showing as sorn'ed So maybe a idea to cancel DD as well
 
For me not being able to use it and paying for the privilege seemed a no brainer. Car I still use. Kept the insurance going as I would be horrified not to.
