Last Wednesday and old workmate of mine won £1.7 million on the Lotto, his wife was still at work in the local convenience store till the Friday:eek:(I dont think it had sunk in), He,s a great lad who,s worked all his life for a pittance and I,m over the moon for the pair of them. It just got me thinking:rolleyes:, what would I do if I,d won it:eek:, What would you do???

Dreams....

I would definitely NOT open an acount a Kaupthing bank. I would buy it.:D:eek:
You know: they say: money doesn't make man happy.... but when I got that many I'll be glad to take a little bit unhappiness with it :D

lottery win

We often discuss this. I'd like to say that I would continue to work, perhaps part time or so many hours per year. I often wonder wonder about making the neighbours an offer so that I can get rid of them, but then think why don't I just get the builders in and build a higher wall around my house, refurb it - obviously whilst I am touring Europe in the motorhome. The neighbours wouldn't bother me then, I'd neither see them or hear them when at home, the rest of the time I will be travelling.

The problem with winning/receiving that amount of money would be all the so called friends and family members who would crawl out of the woodwork.

I would change the van, but not immediately. I keep theatening the dogs that the next van will have a garage with heating for them, so that would be one of my new requirements.

I do the Lottery but I would have a bigger pile of money now had I saved the £2 a week for the last 10 years.

It si no use dreaming of a win, as that leads to constant dissapointment.
I hardly ever check the numbers, just once every in a while i get up the numbers on teletext and see just how unlucky I have been.

DON'T DREAM TODAY OF THE DAY YOU CAN DO, DO TODAY WHAT YOU CAN OF YOUR DREAM.;)

I haven't done the lottery for about 10 years, the odds are absolutely abysmal.. Its odds of 55 to 1 just to get a tenner. I'd rather bet on a 3 legged nag with emphysema running in the 3.30 at Kempton.
