Just had knockabout at my door , a big guy said do you want sell you motorhome I said no he offered xxxxxx grand I said not enough he left ,
I live on a road with no passing traffic or pedestrians, so not easily spotted , ???

Ive had that experience ,offered me £12000 even showed me a roll of notes and had slips of paper put under the wipers. Im not even sure how much the van is worth its a boxer 2.ltr compass avantgarde 200 2003. May go to spinney at Cranage for a value , trouble is if i sold it i`d have to pay out of this world for another one.

I have had it a few times, notes in the letter box, knocking on the door, both at home and when I left it at my MIL's empty house in Hertfordshire, the gentleman there said if I didn't want to sell it did we want the drive done.

Possibly a genuine buyer just looking to flip it in a few days and make a couple of hundred quid. People do make a tidy living doing this but can be not so great on the customer service side if you were to buy from them!

Happens all the time here, there is a gypsy camp a mile away. We did actually sell them my son's van some years back, it had just failed the MOT and he wanted rid. Wasn't worth a lot and he was happy with what they offered.
