Just a Prompt

&,,,Um,,,,Where are you EXACTLY !,
I can Shuffle at about 2 MPH, Most of that in a straight line if I keep it at UNDER 2 cans to the mile .

Ha ha NZ I did wonder if I should have typed that in one of your threads but seeing as we are at Hollingworth Lake I think tea is safe :)

Now might be a good time to
PUSH THAT TEST BUTTON
People !.

(Smoke & CO Alarms, & Test you’re Tourches to !)

Well done, it's that time of year that people have all their windows closed to keep out the cold and that's a time that we are more at risk from carbon monoxide.

And torches, Poundland have some X files torches, £1 including the three batteries, they are excellent !

Hey Harrow,
Yeah well I was having a bit of a Clear Out, Clean & Getting into Winter Mode today & thought exactly that, I often check my Alarms, Batteries & a whole lot of other stuff, but wonders if others might have forgotten for a time.

Hey Gang 😊
So as some might know I DO like to try & be Proactive in things especially when it comes to Safety in my Home on wheels, so hope you’ve all ‘Pressed that Button’ recently 👍.
An example of how important it could be presented itself to me JUST an hour ago when I started my Daily routine.
I flicked the Kettle on, & while having a Wee my ‘Toilet Full’ alarm went off Mid Flow 😳.

It actually took a moment in my dazed state to then realise -
I Haven’t got a ‘Toilet Full’ Alarm 🤨
But looking on the positive it’s nice to know my Muscle control is still Good 😊.
Further investigation pointed to my Smoke alarm that I literally just took off the ceiling & put on the side ready to wipe over & renew the batteries while having my morning Coffee & LOOK WHAT IT FOUND -

The Kettle Plug !

Curious why your using a mains plug kettle in a van?
Are you hookup, or using an inverter?
Was plug positioned near a heat source?

Reason for asking is to understand why the plastic has melted as shown.
Heat created has been excessive so to me the current for kettle is high, that suggests a failing kettle heating element, or a higher supply voltage being produced by the inverter if that is what you are using.
Could be more to check than expected.
Take care.
