Well... seeing that you are asking.... We parked up at Huttoft beach Mablethorpe on the Friday night, with other 'vans.
The Saturday weather was tremendous, so a cycle into Chapel St Leonards was done, just in time to listen to a band on the village green, some fish n chips and a couple of games on the slot machines (just for the lad y'know) ;) and a cycle back to the van.
We just loved the location!

However... Saturday night the weather worsened, and Sunday was blowing a very cool wind with some rain, so we had breakfast and headed back home.
We will be back though! My lad just loves the coastal locations.:fun:
Some pics of the location and the other vans that were there.....

Our favorite place to get away for a couple day's was Spurn Point, how ever Huttoft has now taken over that spot.
Great place just to take off to if ya got a couple days off work.!

Hi Beemer ....We have a week off coming up soon thank goodness, we are trying to make some decisions on where to go. Really like the look of this beach/location. What is the cost to stay there and are dogs allowed on the beach ?? Thanks

It cost nothing to stay on this beach location, and there were many motorhomes with dog owners using the beach. We could easily spend a few nights there. The link is for Moggs Eye beach but if you zoom in on the map and look a little further up the coast, you will see a much better beach parking area just off Sea Lane where we parked. Moggs Eye beach is better if you intend to stay for a bit longer than a couple of days because the van is protected from the wind by a big sand bank. It was very windy where we stayed, because you are right next to the sea, but you get magnificent sea views straight out your window.
