Thankyou for your kind remarks...To be honest I dont really have much DIY skills...I just spent hours on this forum and YouTube looking for ideas..I measured up the van then spent hours drawing different layouts...then adapted them to suit the fittings I purchased from Gumtree and ebay over a few months...Almost all the fittings are secondhand or end of line stuff.

The 1000Watt power invertor/charger was bought on Gumtree for £40 from a guy with a VW Camper, he had bought a 3000Watt invertor and other stuff from a guy who gave up his snack bar buisness. He told me this guy also had upholstered cushions lying around so I bought them from him for £30...he had paid £180 to have them made but never used them..porta potti was £20 on Gumtree, so on and so on.

I cant find a makers name on it though. I used it mainly to charge the aux battery at home or when im on a proper site with EHU. However the aux battery is now connected to the alternator and the invertor is almost redundant but worth having as a back up. Everything in the van now works from 12v or gas.

If you already have a charger fitted for the aux battery I dont know if its worth buying an invertor really, your probably better spending your money on 12v stuff. I picked up a TV/DVD player from Tesco for £80 a few weeks ago and bought the 12v adapter on ebay for £12.50 and it works great on the aux battery. Probably the same price as buying an new invertor.
