It's a wrap Goring (Worthing) Vinyl wrapping

Went to the towbar place opposite them and there was a car that had been wrapped in a bronze finish didn't look bad but then again i didn't have a good look at it - only a couple of miles from me though

Thanks...The website looks good.
All the google reviews are good...except for 1.
Not planning it until April/May

Considering a wrap for the Crafter as a colour change paint job is a bit expensive.

Yes..and you can do partial...if it suits.
We might (unlikely) choose to do the cab roof fully in a colour tha matches our decals...Would depend on DVLA ?Would they need to change colour on V5C ?

Has anyone had a wrap done and then parked it in the sun in Spain during July, August? Just wondered how it would stand up to the heat etc.

Probably over a long term it would dry out and crack as the graphics do now my view anyway
Have seen the wrapping on the Stobart trucks and they look ok from a distance but around the tight curves and edges you notice the shrinking and and cracking.

I will maybe get our scooter vinyl wrapped somtime to hide all of the scuffs that it's received from breaking free in transit in the moho garage! 😢

Even the best kwality vinyl wrap films crack under weathering/uv degradation....

Most of it is, only designed to last a couple of years or so (fleet vehicles get chopped in pretty quickly)
And often doesn't matter to folks who have their cars wrapped as they get re done pretty often....

Take a close look at the next fleet vehicle your next to in traffic and look how it lifts and cracks around the panel indents etc.

No its the main colour that matters and the last time I changed the complete colour of a car I just sent paper in saying colour now Green and they changed it so no problem but could have changed in last 3 yrs

Not sure about that. At my work I see them getting done most days and depending what customer wants but thay used to be 3.5 and 8 year wrap. And would agree about the indents on panels

Most fleet operators opt for wrapping so it can be easily removed after the vehicle expires the operators limits.....
Be that mileage/age....

No many will keep the vehicles till they naturally expire (BER) Beyong economic repair when it breaks.

Sub 100,000 miles/2 or 3 years old so they, STILL have some residual value.

Wrap films are often offered with a 'life span'.... However that's usually in ideal conditions NOT real world use.

Wraps can be a great thing used for the purpose they are designed for....
However used on a moho I reckon personally all bets are off as to their long term life.

Many thanks to ll for the various comments.

The company concerned offer a protective finish as well
I copy their multi estimate
  1. To wrap the rooflite in a gloss white wrap material it would cost £150 + VAT
  2. or in Clear Paint Protection Film it would cost £225.00 + VAT
  3. To wrap the top section of the roof in a gloss white wrap material it would cost £250 + VAT
  4. or in Clear Paint Protection Film it would cost £375.00 + VA
please note prices are subject to material used, final coverage and inspection of area to wrapped.

I will see what they recommend on an inspection visit but
Clear Paint Protection Film it would cost £225.00 + VAT

This would enable the roof-lite to let light in
The problem I have is a small crack very similar to the Post by @thelaird
It has been dealt with but needs tidying up

Quite content tro pay £250 every 4 years to keep the vehicle tidy...(or even £500)
The full gloss-white wrap of the cab roof is the other option
I maintain a monthly vehicle majorcosts budget (Service MOT Tax Insurance tyres Tunnel) could just add another£10 a month into that
so cost is not an issue..We do not wish to spend 5 months every sunner in a sub-standard vehicle
