Italian Lakes

Hi All,
Wish to travel from Stressa, Lake Maggiore to Lenno, Lake Como.
Google and Via Michelin give a choice of routes. Can anyone advise to most scenic/interesting.

Ive done Cannobio on Maggiore (Good Sosta there) and went round the north end of the lake down to Laguna where we stayed and then onto Como. The route from Laguna to Como was interesting but it took hours. Narrow and tricky in places and just typical Italian back roads. Slow. Think it was mid summer though so also a bit busy.

I did Peschiera Del Garda to Intra, I just followed the Sat nav, that was interesting enough for me, driving in Italy.

All I remember is the bridge across the south end of maggiore was really nice views as the taxi driver took me half an hour up the wrong side of the lake, despite my protests.

Really nice area, with very few english speakers.

Check out Lago Di Iseo. Very pretty with boat trips to the island. Sorry, no route suggestions.
