Not quite motorhome chat but it is General Chat about holidays!!

Just thinking of a quick week away in the sun (without the mh) and came across this site: Cheap Holidays, Discount Holidays and Cheap Holiday Deals 2015 & 2016

A quick search will provide 7 nights 3 or 4 star accommodation including flights and half board for £100 per person and I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used this site to book a holiday and is it legit? They claim to be members of ABTA and IATA for protection against insolvency etc. It sounds too good to be true, but if it is true, I would risk a cheap holiday for £100. There are even 4 star fully inclusive deals inc flights to Egypt or Tunisia for £250.

Here's hoping someone has had success with this company.

I don't know about that site but a friend recommended icelolly.com to me. They use it all the time and when I looked, there were incredible bargains for all-inclusive weeks at 5* resorts. I've never done anything like that before but when it works out cheaper than a week's camping in british weather, it certainly gives you pause for thought.

Used to work in the travel, industry for over 12 years , you get what you pay for.

I always say....

There's no such things as 5* all inclusive ...5* and all inclusive just don't equate !

And there's definitely most definitely no such thing as a 'free child place' !

Do your research and check out the hotel, whats sounds very cheap probably is !

Don't know about the site, but if you do use them pay by credit card and you should be ok, at £100 its worth it for the flights, if the hotel is crap book yourself in elsewhere. Some good deals about, we once went to Alicante, new apartments paid £99 each, a lot of the other guests were disgruntled as it was supposed to have 3 pools among other things but only had one, but they'd paid £199. :D

Have looked on several of these type sites you often find when you ring that offer can't be found or just finished (will still stay on screen for a week) also they will not include luggage and transfers adding another £70 per person , we use sunshine.co.uk booked with them twice now everything done online print of vouchers etc all works without problems eg went marsa alam a diving resort on the Red Sea first two weeks in dec paid £580 for a fortnight all inclusive very good 5* excellent food choice clean lovely staff locally produced spirits were crap but loved it another couple had paid £630 for a week so genuine deals are around ,
