Is gas still an option?

Mine isn't using so much more. There are 11.5 litres of Gas in a 6kg bottle and ours will last a couple of weeks, maybe a bit more so that ties in with your figures. We also heat up water for showers and cook food so its actually pretty good.

We just went around Devon/Cornwall for a fortnight, so some driving most days, but only an hour/90 mins or so. One night on hookup (because CCC grass offer with EHU was the cheapest where we were that night).
Cooked on gas most days, lots of kettles boiled, HW for a shower most days. Left home with two full 6Kg bottles.
Checked when I turned it off and the first bottle was showing empty (manual switchover) though it had still been running the fridge.
was a bit disappointed as thought we usually used less than that, assuming the fridge was working harder in the unusual for us sunshine.
