iPhone 'apps'

Does anyone know if there any camping, caravaning or motorhoming 'apps' available for my other new toy, please?

I've got the standard 'sat nav', bought the extra detailed weather 'app' and the beach finder 'app' but wondered if there is something that specifically covers camp sites, large and small, in amongst the 65,000 'apps' O2 promises me.

hi tony , on my sat nav i go into menu and look up favorites and there is a place for camp sites just tic on it and it points out all camp sites . mine is a tom tom go the old one so yours should have the facilities to do it

Haven't seen any apps for camping etc ( sure one will appear though! ) but 2 excellent apps are Dish Pointer Maps & Dish Pointer AR.

Work fantastically well on site in the UK, I have used both and can recommend them 100%. They show you in which direction to point your sat dish via google maps from your compass position and give you the azium settings etc etc!

Very useful and one of hundreds I have on my iphone.

Hi Fiftysomething had our iPhone a few months and have found a few apps although not directly to do with camping may be useful:-
Around Me and Travel Mate - gives info re: shops, bars etc from you current location.
WC Finder - you never know when you need one
Traffic UK - gives info for traffic jams etc
LPG Finder - details of filling stations having LPG (handyfor Gaslow users)
TV Guide -
Most of above are free, but some cost 59 pence.
If you look on the App Store you will find thousands more
