Hi,
Have being doing a bit to Edie our Highwayman over the last week.

New carpet, painted walls and ceiling, fitted rgb LEDs around the inside, flip down TV bracket, recovered the seats and made curtains (the mrs did the upholstery stuff) fitted some leather seats out of a saab, replaced the leaking paloma heater, fitted awning rails and caravanstore and general tidy up ready for the Isle of Wight tomorrow.
I think she looks lovely now and very much us.

That looks great :)
We too had a highwayman up until last year....I loved it !!
Have a great trip :)

Thank you,
I'm really pleased with the outcome, there's still stuff to do but from when we got her last year to now is a massive difference (and she just sailed through her Mot last week to.

Not to shabby for an old girl ❤️

The Saab seats are so much nicer than the 21 year old fiat ones,
it makes driving her a lot more enjoyable.

Looks fantastic, well done, you are inspiring me to give my 26 year old van a makeover! :)

yes a good job well done .surprising what we can acheave with a little patience and a few quid .

I think all in, material for curtains and seats, front seats, carpet, paint,LEDs and bits and bobs is under £200 and I think that's a bargain for the transformation into a place we want to spend time in yes it took a little time but I wouldn't hesitate doing it again I thought I loved our Edie before now I don't want to get out
:)

I fitted Renault front seats to my Iveco Daily, they were like armchairs and made long journeys so much better so I love those Saab seats, I have also just fitted RGB lights to my Hymer, transformation per £ is unbelievable

Next job is to address the suddenly spongey floor on the kitchen area,
Anyone have experience with the dowel and liquid kits on eBay or am I better off replacing the whole panel?
