Interior cab lights in Eura Mobil

Hello, the halogen lights that are fitted to the underside of the drop down bed only seem to work by the switch on the dashboard - should they also come on when the door opens?? Integra 636S model.

Oh no! Just unplugged motorhome from 240v and the lights have come on by themseles and won't switch off now at all !!!!!!!!!!!!

Have removed fuse. Presumably that's why previous owner did not hve a fuse in !!!!!!!
