Our current insurers have stopped motor homes and caravans.

Worth checking the underwriters.
I had a 2year old windscreen (sunroof) claim.
Initially no valid solution BUT the claim was fully settled once I found a replacement.
Discussed directly with Aviva who paid up (circa £500) once the repair was organised.
They paid me directly.
My latest premium increased slightly but probably due to inflation rather than the claim.

I've been using the Asda quote engine for 3-4 years now for car and van, always had a good quote, so long as they're defacto 5 rated I'm happy, 17 isn't very old for a MoHo though.

I take AIB breakdown cover as there is no chance of me pushing the bu--er home from Donegal.

Safeguard with full euro breakdown included for me however they only go up to 20 year old vehicles.

Been round all the others who have some good introductary deals then whack it back up to full price the following year

Kept going back to Safeguard and after getting fed up of keep changing just stayed with them and they always give me a good price, IMHO

We have gone with Adrian Flux. No quibble about age of vehicle and the price was good compared to others with more benefits

Me too. Used to be with AIB, but last year the premium increased, by a considerable amount, and they couldn't get near to Adrian Flux's quote.

We were with Safeguard, for many years, but the price increased considerably, following a small claim.
I've just read a complaint about them, on the MMM forum website. Seems their breakdown cover isn't up to standard.
