Hello, our campervan conversion will be ready in 3 weeks, it is a VW T5 with pop top roof etc.., can anyone recommend good value insurance companies, are there specialist insurers for camper vans? We will be travelling through western Europe. Totally new to the campervanning scene so any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance!

We use Comfort insurance but A.I.B. give a discount to members look out the thread on here somewhere. I might add that there are other insurance companies out there

I was with A-Plan for last few years for my various VW Campers. Recently switched to AIB a couple of weeks ago.

With some of the insurers you need to check for maximum value limits - a T5 conversion could potentially be just over some insurers value ceiling.

AIB discount applies to full members £20 per year for our eclectic company and teasing ....if interested and gives access to a host of other goodies like the POIS discounts on batteries and Trevskoda banging on about Linux :ninja:

Insurance on a serious note , pretty much depends on a variable factors so shop about ..a lot swear by Adrian Flux , Comfort and Safeguard
