hi its the newsuance again look i carn,t even spell. if i bought another liesure battery and just put it under the seat in m/home. and ran my 16 inch telly wich draws 4 wats ??? and just put crodadile clips on to the terminalls and my 12 volt lead into the telly how long would you think it would run the telly for before it needs charging???or ham i wasting my money AGAIN.

I can't say how long it will last but why don't you link the new battery, in parallel, with you other leisure battery (if you have one) ? Neg to neg. Pos to pos.

won,t it then make it 24 volts if i connect 2 together then it would blow me telly won,t it has it is a 12 volt telly???

No it remains 12v when connected in parallel. Connected in series gives you 24v

You can have a dozen batteries linked it would still be 12V. If on power, your battery would be charging while you are watching TV. Even while driving if still connected to the battery that is being charged by the alternator, it will also charge up.

Yep Brian you have 12 volts...but to try and answer your question , needs a bit of maffs .....works like this if you have a tv that uses 4 watts an hour ( are you sure sounds low) then watts divided by voltage gives amps drawn..


So 4 watts divided by 12,volts equals .25 amps ....therefore if you have a 100 amp battery fully charged you would have 400 hours of tv..

This assumes full charged battery and nowt else draining it like them there lights ont humber bridge etc

You must be hessle way on then, I know it well....years ago often found chucking a lead for them cod behind the makro,always preferred it to the bullnose.
I saw an old bloke catch a sea trout under the bridge ...after we revived him, he was hoping for a stout, he told us first one he had ever seen and he was old.......a sign the river is cleaning up....good times.
