Stopped at Fort William on Sat night. Try the Glen Nevis road, plenty of laybys on a long dead end road. You'll be fine this time of year. Also a couple of carparks with no prohibition notices.

PS. Please use puntuation!

Can you be more precise about your Skye plans (look at www.calmac,co,uk for Mallaig ferry times as we have a much restricted service in winter).
Possible spot near Armadale on Skye/ towards Broadford/ towards Sligachan at Moll....

Isle of Skye

Wild camping on the Isle of Skye is a dream, on the road to Elgol, have to pass Loch Slappin, there used to be ford across the river, but since there has been a bridge built but they have left the old bit of road and thats ideal for putting the m/home there, another place is at Ord right on the shores of Loch Slappin, right on the waters edge, water can obtained from garage in Broadford.

We have just done 8 night wild camping on mull and adjacent mainland.
Ideal area for wild camping. I would not bother planning overnight stops too carefully, it won't take long to find something suitable.
