been to switzerland and would like to see what it realy is like scenery ect there is a program on (sky travel channel 2 )its on all day on sundays and tuesdays
it is called swiss railway journeys if you ignore the train commentry and just look at the scenery ect i think it might give you the ambition to go someday
it is not as expensive as you may think,
there are cheapcamp sites / supermarket and eating places
if you are thrifty you dont need to go on cablecars / mountain railways you can drive through the mountain passes and get the views for free
there is a charge for the motorways but you dont have to use them it is better to dawdle around on the older roads you see far more

Yes i have been there it is very nice,was some years ago.Stopped at interlaken.did a few of the passes, up cable car at gridenwald and the rhone glacier.Well worth a visit.The caravan and motorhome progamme on the information channel,quite often do reports on switzerland as well.
