Hi help needed, have seen a site in Derbyshire south of Buxton on the road to Ashbourne, this is just below the parsley hay cycle hire centre. Allthough not strictly wild camping there are no facilities, or anyone to ask about staying, the site is set high above a railway cutting on the tissington trail just below the junction where the high peak trail joins it. Access is via a track off the main road. Just wondered if anyone knows where to find out any details about it.
Have been up a few times when vans there but it's been deserted!.
many thanks.

there are 2 small sites in Biggin, one behind the pub which really crams them in and one just afew doors up behind atruck yard (very small) The walking around here is fantastic and the start of Biggin dale is 100mtrs away, from there you can walk thrgh to Wolvescotdale and even through to Dovedale. The tissington trail is half a mile away. Just found the card I was given for the smaller site "the Homestead Caravan Site" it has hookups but no hards.

Hi thanks for that the three sites you kindly mentioned are all situated around the one i'm interested in,its location is 1/2 a mile below the parsley hay cycle hire centre, just off the A515 Buxton rd, just below the convergence of the Tissington trail with the High peak trail. Access is by track (300mts) just off the A515. As I say i've been up there, seen vans, but nothing else!

See if you can locate the area on multi map so it can be viewed:D
