Icelandic Volcano.

There's always someone on here that knows.

Whenever there's been a spell of northerly air, our car and MH get a fine layer of black dust. It feels like fine grinding paste.

How active are the Icelandic Volcanoes.

I presume it's volcanic ash. It's a bloody nuisance as the top of the MH collects it all, as it's on a slope, it washes to one corner where quite a puddle of black powder is left.

Anyone else notice this??

Currently, three of Icelands volcanoes are classified as "restless", which means the occasional rumble and maybe small earth movements but no explosions, so it is unlikely that you are looking at volcanic dust. Maybe runnach is right! :lol-053:

I think that Icelands volcanoes are inactive at the moment, well not spewing ash at least.
The hot weather suggests that the air is from the South, so you are probably getting covered by a bit of the Sahara desert.
