i popped my cherry in france !!!

hi there. just an update to our trip to france for the first time in a motorhome. what a fantastic time we had. the people were friendly, the roads were quality and so stress free ( french drivers so courtious ), ample aires and even some wild camping spots, clean beaches and and great weather to boot. only minus points were too many travellers camps and the euro exchange rate made everything very expensive.
thanks to all that gave us advice before we left and many thanks to telstar for the map and aire books, they were invaluable.
we can't wait for our next visit.

We also enjoy France, another of our favourites is Germany. Makes you see what we are missing in this country, I feel more at ease when we are on the continent than here in the UK
