As per the title, i fink we are turning into Froggies 🤪

We are actively looking for shade whenever we can and now the temperature has plummeted to near freezing ( 12C this morning ) all blinds are being kept shut and the big coats have come out 😱

That actually happened the other day.

We was parked on an aire with 2 others, a Dutch van and a German van spread out nicely along the edges of the aire then along came the Frenchman.

He fannied about for ages trying different spots, each time up went the dish, spun round several times then went back down again.

In the end he bloody well parked right in the middle at 45 degrees to the rest of us, up went the dish and stayed up, blinds shut and that was it, didn't see them. again.

A few years back we were on an aire with vans parked along both sides. Just before some football match or other involving the French ALL the vans on the side of the aire beneath the trees where there was no satellite signal moved almost as one to park up behind the vans on the other side. Couple of hours later when the match had finished they all moved back to their original places again. Really amusing to see.

Observed it a few times . Formation dish dancing .

I do sometimes wonder why some people bother buying a van, they arrive, and either close the blinds, put the TV on or start reading, may as well stay at home we no longer take a TV, We do read now and then, we play card and Doms a lot, we talk (to be precise, Liz talks and I feign listening, she always accuses me of not listening and I would hate for her to be wrong) We both have recorded stuff on our tablets so when the sun goes down it's blinds up and we watch our recordings.

No TV..?
Never a problem for us..
If cards or dominoes didn't appeal, I'd suggest Nookie.
Then we'd play Scrabble.

I keep actively looking for low bridges that might finally rid me of my Camos Dome. 😁

It's all tripe. Apart from frozen planet 2 and Gone fishing.

We do watch a lot of stuff in the van though but mainly downloads.

So is Liz the Dom and you’re the Sub?

Presume you've been watching the latest Mortimer & Whitehouse series that's been on the last few weeks? (y)👌

Totally crack me up. Superb. One of the best things around on main stream TV.

I find telly mostly cr*p nowadays, apart from the odd drama series once in a while.

We don't have a telly in our current van and no intention of installing one.

Yep. Ted is the star now though. I kind of grew up with those two and their comedy. I'm even a member of a couple of Dedicated FB groups which are a bit barmy.

Gone fishing is just quality TV. A refreshing change from in your face loud glitzy bollocks.

Just watched tonights episode fishing for Barbel which is my favourite species.

I had forgotten that the angling consultant for the series is John Bailey who I have been fishing with a few times. I also went to one of his after dinner talks and shared a table with Chris Yates who had been a hero of mine until I met him. That night we had to keep him and Bob James apart as they had fallen out rather badly.

Fishermen amongst us will know that Chris Yates and Bob James did a TV program called 'A passion for Angling' which although sometimes a bit silly was nevertheless a good watch.
