Hid

I think it might stand for "Her In Doors" (ITV's Minder)

HID = SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed)

commonley also referred to as 'our maude' around here (It doesn't matter what their 'real' name is:rolleyes:)

Translated  as "Our Peg " up here!!
We've gone off thread yet again.  Nowt new there, then!!
:D :D JIM!! :D :D

thats a pity it would be better to have company, not much fun you going off & she at home.
i know bikers whose wife/partner wont go on the bike which i can understand.
would she go into a campsite to get used to it before wild camping?
i do feel for you.

How about parking at Nash Point overnight by the lighthouse. There are sea views and a path leading down to the beach. This should impress her and is only about 2 hours/100 miles from Worcester.

I've parked there several times myself. If you arrive before about 6pm you may need to pay a parking fee which, I think, is about £3 but you should have a quiet night in a beautiful spot with coastal walks.

Can't you do a reccy in the car 1st?

If she's that high maintenence & you really think she's worth the hassle, then a wee trip in the car 1st would be worth it...no?

Then you'd know if you can get your van down the roads, parked with vista et al.
