I have owned campers and motorhomes for many years now, starting with a VW split windscreen camper, which I wish I had now, worth a small fortune. Next was a Transit Dormobile. We then went through a period of renting, until we bought our own again, starting with an A Class Chausson Bora. Next came another A Class, a German BaWeMo. Our latest aquisition is a Hymer B584, which we are thrilled with. We have never had a problem with our water systems, draining them out at the end of the season, and then flushing them through at the start of the next season. I have just read John Wickersham's article in the Dec.MMM on water systems. He really does not like submersible pumps, as fitted on my Hymer. Now, I am really worried. Has anyone out there had any problems with their Hymer water systems, and if so, what was the remedy? Is it worth changing the system, and if so, is it easy?
