Today my AluGas system arrived and I order a pre-painted external filler. I have been trying to find where to find the paint so that I can respray it in the same as colour my new van. The only option seems to be a Hymer dealer who wants £40 - £60 for a single aerosol.

Someone must have worked out another paint code that is a match or been to a colour match company.

So can anyone give me a paint code for a 2013 B598 in champagne?

Go to any trade auto paint shop with the van and they will have a paint spectometer that will match your paint exactly. Have spoken to the garage i use they used to do work for w country .

I think your van is the same colour as ours!

Is it this colour?

Another reason for a specific brand forum!

My plan is that we have brand groups, that way people can subcribe to the ones they want to follow. Posts will still appear in the activity feed but in a groups section rather than forums section.

There will also be a politics group to keep the posts of the main forum.

This might show the colour better

It just shows the folks next door that you are either a rich barstewart or up to neck with the tic man.:lol-053:
Very nice van i must say.

To be honest, we are not power hungry and one solar panel is all we have ever required, and this goes for our last three vans!
Oh, retired and doubt I could get tick!:scared:

I have to ask, is there a reason why it's on levellers in your drive? 🤔🤔🤔

Thanks, I have ordered the paint.

Did you order clear coat too ?

I bought one painted white all looked well I fitted it no problems, until I went to fill with gas and couldn't remove the cap because it was too tight even though it didn't feel tight when I fitted it, after getting I thin blade in to remove it I then ended up having to remove the paint from the outer edge of the cap and the inner edge of the cup part, these parts should have been sanded down before been panted to allow for the two thicknesses of paint, hope this makes sense?

Do remember that aerosols are acrilic single pack paint and not what your van will be painted with so dont ever try to fix a scratch with it.
Modern cars vans from about 10 years back are painted with water base paint and lacqured with a two pack clear finnish, this can only be done in a proper body shop oven and not for diy use,ok for mirrors odds and bobs to spray with cans.

if your van is a few years old mate..it will be slightly different colour/fade..it will be different color code ..you need to go to paint place were they put them there magic box paint readers on..on my Peugeot boxer [sprayed] bonnet it was totally different colour to the code that was under the bonnet..if this all make's scence...lol.....
