Hymer Help Needed

Hi to all Hymer coachbuilt owners.

We had our new tyres fitted today-I took the handbook and everything, but for the life of us we couldn't get the spare tyre to release. We found the release bolt which we undid and one side of the cradle released, so is there two??

If so anyone out there with a T-Class 575?? is the other one sort of under the shower tray?? we found a little cover at the front of the tray, we have took the screws out but couldn't get the cover to move-will try again tomorrow.

I will also will contact Hymer Direct who I bought Hymie off as he may know??

The handbook is of little help as covers many Hymers.

Can't wait to get away after Christmas-it will be our first trip.

Cheers

Paula

Just a thought, but if you have found the access cover and removed the screws and it won't open up.
It could be that it is also stuck down with waterproofing sealant:D
Sometimes these sealants can be pretty strong.

Thankyou Garth

We removed the panel this morning, by putting in a big screw and pulling on it-and there we found the thingy to lower the spare wheel-trust Hymer as it already has a long thingy attached so we just had to use the spanner provided.

Thankyou for your help.

Paula

P.S we've put up an outside plug and have plugged in a oil filled heater to keep him warm!
