Hymer Exsis ( the origanal and only one ?)

On the 2 long seats opposite each other which slide out to make up a 3rd bed,there is a catch on each side that you pull or push to unlock it and then pull the seat out on each side,is there supposed to be a knob on this,mine has what looks like a Allen bolt sticking out which is hard to get a hold off ?
