hymer back fog light mot fail.

hi all hymer failed mot yesterday fog light wrong side, had a look today lense off have bulbs in both sides ok, wire ok, cant run new wire from one side to other toilet in way inside,is there a easy way, other than 1 new light fitted as the garage wants to do. many thanks.

can you not run the wires underneath and back up behind the light on the other side MOS

I can only guess,but do you have a reverseing light? you would normally have reverse one side, Fog the other, if you have 2 Fog, then a lens has been replaced with a fog, and not a white reverse lens, if this is the case then join the reverse light wire to the foglight wire,in the junction box underneath at the back, to have 2 foglights. This is for a 87 to 94 van.

I had the same problem when I brought my MH from Germany in 2005. Now I have 2 Fog lights, so I am okay for Europe & GB. An extra lamp was fitted and the wires attached to the other fog light. Had it done by the Garage that failed it.
