Hymer A class, drop down beds.

We are thinking of either making changes/adding extras to our hymer coachbuilt or even changing to a hymer A class, with the drop down bed over the cab seats.

So after looking on the internet I have come back to here to find an answer to my question. On hymer drop down beds what is the load/weight limit on them?? As we are both fatties (well john is more rugby player-i am jsut short for my weight), this may be a problem, also how big are they?

I have the drop down bed in my Hymer I have never seen anything in the Blurb about weight limits, in them, there must be an upper limit but I would not worry about that as no one can be that heavy surely,as for size, I have not measured mine but I know that two adults can sleep in them with no problems, both of us are not what you would call small, you need to climb a short ladder to get into the bed or climb up from the side seats depending on the layout of the van you get, but again no problem.Some people who need to use the Loo a few times in the night may not like climbing in and out of the bed though, but that is a problem wherever you sleep I would guess.
