Hi guys, I’m trying to help a friend with a M reg Hymer, we are having a electrical issue.
240V is working fine at the sockets and fridge.

But we can’t seem to get the 12v side to work.
Dose anyone know where the battery charger is located/12v habitation fuses are located as can’t get the green light above the entrance (see photo) to light up

Any ideas
Thank you
Dave

You need to adopt a systematic approach, so know what you are dealing with.

- Disconnect the EHU and solar so you are reliant on battery power only.

- Find and test the voltage on the Leisure Battery(s)
If it is flat charge it up with either the built in charger or a standalone one.
Until you have a charged 12v battery it isn't worth proceeding.

- Once you have a charged leisure battery follow the red wire from it.
You should find an in line fuse (check it) and the battery charger / PDU which has the individual circuit fuses.

would anyone know the location of the inverter/transformer 240v to 12v
Looked under the seat but just fuses, nothing by leisure battery (under bench seat behind front seat)
Main 240v isolator located under seat in the rear seating area

The model is B664 on a M plate.
Any help to locate would be much appreciated

Its 12v to 230v, inverter should be close to the battery if installed correctly.

Hymers are usually controlled by an Schaudt Elektroblock similar to this

On my 2002 model, it is on the passenger side under the front slide

If the 12v isn't switching on it will probably be one of the relays in the elektroblock (it was on mine)
If you sit in the passenger seat and someone else switches the 12v power on you should hear it click if it is working,
this has cropped up a few times before, look at this thread https://wildcamping.co.uk/threads/12-volt-problem.68192/post-912922
