How's this for a coincidence?

Came back from France on Saturday morning (by the way, they make it so easy for motorhomes over there). We arrived at Calais quite early and asked Seafrance if we could take an earlier ferry, as we had a flexi ticket. No problem, so we joined the queue - then after about 15 minuts, a motorhome rolled up next to us. It was our old one, that we replaced about 8 months ago! What are the chances of that? And it's not like we live on the south coast and pop over to France every other month; this was our once a year trip from Scotland.

That certainly is a coincidence. Did you make yourself known to the new owners..or did you already know them. Did you feel any pangs of remorse for selling it.
We all agree that France is well geared up for motorhomes...even in these times of the £ being so bad against the €..its still cheaper to have a month's holiday over there than it is here...such a shame..the U.K. is losing out big-time in tourism.

Yes we did have a talk with them but not for long as the queue started to move forward. We looked for them on the boat but didn't find them. We love our new motorhome so no regrets - and we had a great time in France, stayed on aires all the time - they have the completely opposite view from the UK, in that they are trying to encourage visitors to spend money in their towns, where we seem to put up as many barriers as we can to deter them with no overnight parking and height restrictions. Think I'll move to France!
