Morning 2crazycampers

Best thing I have found is to arm yourself with a damp cloth and some water. Spray Mr Muscle on, leave for 2 seconds and wipe off with aforementioned cloth. I do not trust scientists as they never tell you what the magic ingredient is so I wash off with plenty of water. Some chemicals can harm your paintwork!

Many people will sometimes give the van a quick wash down with washing up liquid. If you check the fine print on your bottle at home, they now have a warning that it is not suitable foe washing cars.

How will this help the OP to remove scratches from plastic windows

2Crazy campers have you tried fenwicks window paste

Alf

OP said he`d fixed problem 1.
As for problem 2; Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner, the one in the yellow bottle. Worked for me.

Hello Alf,

I was referring to the black smears and not the scratches.

There are a lot of suggestions for scratches in the M/H mags. I had a lot of them after working in Derbyshire (where the A roads are B roads and the B roads are farm tracks). I used Autoglym polish which works very well on light scratches. If you are patient and do the bad ones a number of times, they also come out.

For NO.2 removing black streaks, try Auto Glym's caravan cleaner, it does the job with ease.:)
