A leaflet has been produced in France "Guide du savoir vivre, camping-car" which covers all know-how about motorhoming in France (it has been out for a few years, but I recently found it back), it gives practical information, rights and duties, welcome at the aires, press etc.
It is a joint venture of:

This leaflet comes in mighty handy for us MHr's, but it may also be used as an eye-opener contacting officials in the UK who are reluctant to made facilities for MH's, or provide their parkings with 'no overnight' signs
