NastyOne of the things that haunts me is when I was 8 years old I was sent to the corner shop about 100 yards from home
As I turned the corner there was a young boy the same age as me at the time, screaming whilst a lot of adults were putting towels around his head that were really badly soaked in blood.
What had happened they were following a truck carrying scaffold planks and one of the planks slid off the truck and went through the windscreen slicing the top off the boys head.
Sadly he died later that day in hospital.
Even now when ever I see a truck carrying scaffold planks I either get past as quick as possible or hold a long way back.
You could try SURF to wash the pants.I was travelling along the A27 near Havant, when a sailboard came off of a roof rack.
Fortunately, it went over me (and by now Brown Pants) and smashed itself to pieces on the hard shoulder.
I am sure it's fine but just using glue would stress me, but I am a worrierMy solar panels are bolted to my unistrut roofrack with 8mm bolts. Roofrack is fastened to roof with tec screws & sikaflex. If my panels aren't on top of my bus its because the roof came off....
Sorry I wasnt clear, I didn't mean you, I think you are in the same camp as me! I once saw velcro recommended on FB as fixing suggestion and it wasnt for one of those bendy panels eitherNot just glue buddy, each cross member is glued & screwed with tec screws straight through the roof into the steelwork under the roofskin.View attachment 100201
3 of them, with siderails bolted down with 8mm boltsView attachment 100202
Then there are more cross rails, with 8mm bolts fastening them onView attachment 100203
