How do you clean the inside of your windscreen?

Hi Folks, For the last 50 years I've had problems getting a smear free clean on the inside of motor vehicle windscreens. My latest attempt was using ASDA's smear free glass wipes....they didn't work. Any tips please?

The old fashioned way.....with a bit of vinegar on a damp cloth. Not too much and make sure you rinse it off well or your van will smell like a mobile chippy.

I've used news paper and just elbow grease to buff it up.lately been using a lidl product produced by w5 it's a bottle with spray trigger,blue in colour spray onto screen and start to remove with paper towel right away streak free and no smearing

OT. That reminds me of my schooldays, there were some kids so poor they would wait around in the school playground asking if they could have our apple core, or chewing gum, when we'd finished with it. It was a good school though, the head boy had done six months in Borstal prior to being selected.....I'm not joking.

I bought one of these...ideal for large windows when they are misted up, and also cleans them.
Rechargeable from 240v, but hope to adapt it for 12v.

It's simple. Screen wash. If it can keep the outside clean, it certainly does the same for the inside. Don't dilute it. Great for mirrors too. And shiny laminate flooring. (tip for us ladies).

There's only one way and that's hard work.

Rub hard with meths & a cloth, you'll be surprised how much muck has accumulated, it takes a lot of elbow grease to remove it all.

Sprays & wipe-on solutions are not going to cut through that gunge.

Has anybody tried one of these? cheap as chips, and has the hose and nozzle which would make it easier getting to the hard to reach places. I just want to get rid of the excess moisture and then wipe with chamois.

Works a treat with their glass cleaner, I just bought it in store, sprayed the cloth pad with the glass cleaner and rubbed it over the screen. It reached into all the tight spaces dead easy. I then replaced the wet cloth with the spare they give you and dried it off... Couldn't believe how good it was. I did it in their car park in under a couple of minutes.
