Well, technically 25 hours but 24 hours is €11, but 25 hours is €30 and your stay is now limited to 25 hours. Which is a PITA because we usually come here for the vet before returning to the UK. I just spoke to a French guy who shrugged (like they do) and said just buy another ticket. So I did, hopefully we won't be noticed.

This might be to let more folks use the sire ,when we were there last some looked like they were spending ages on site and others couldn’t get in as it was heaving.

Don’t know why it’s so popular. Expensive crap food, expensive beer and bike thefts. Loads of really nice places to go that are not so overcrowded.

You must be rich to use that vet!
The dearest by far that we have used

Would have to agree with a few of your points but we love to buy a few (expensive drinks) sit at the harbour and just watch some of the world go by,only for a day normally .

Know what you mean . The better restaurants are away from the front .
But that Aire is a horror . Saw a French couple one evening manage to squeeze a tiny table between their van and the neighbouring one . They then profit have their dinner !
Following morning 7.30ish knock on window , I had to move because another van had blocked the exit .
Not been back

The aire is a bit grotty but we like that we can park and walk to the vet. We didn't think they were particularly expensive - we had to visit a vet unexpectedly in Nonancourt and I asked out of curiosity what they would charge and it was pretty much the same. Might try a different one next time though!

Stayed here at Easter was packed to the rafters some vans looked like they’d been there for weeks. Load of Irish with caravans and brand new range rovers came in like storm troopers set up camp down far corner probably about 20 vans within minutes there were three police vans full of cops with all the heavy gear made them move actually escorted them of premises with lights and sirens. Nice place to visit for a day or two but you’re gonna need a mortgage to have a few pints and a meal especially harbour side. But think it’s one of them places you’ll always return too

Because the time limit for having the dogs treated has changed we find it easier and cheaper to find a vet a few days earlier, Keith Chesterfield has a great list of Vets or you can get POI's for your satnav, we went to Honfleur once and never again
Recommended Vets in Europe
