Another one caught out by M+S no longer offering this product. I could go with Caravan and Camping Club who offer upto 180 days unoccupied if a member, but gets pricey when you add membership fee to the total. I would probably never use any of their sites.
Any ideas, it's getting hard to find this cover nowadays?

Bought ours from Frontier, the insurer is Red Sands Insurance Company. Premium: £340.11 (90 days unoccupied) with the least onerous conditions compared to others we have used over the years - no requirement for the house to be inspected. www.frontierinsurance.co.uk

CAMH for 90 days unoccupancy. Membership fee on top, but still cheaper than 2 x 60 days Spain Trips with the cost of diesel Scotland-Portsmouth-Scotland- Portsmouth + an extra Portsmouth-Santander ferry crossing ...

Don’t laugh folks but our house is insured by a specialist church insurance company called Ecclesiastical. We have no pretensions to be religious and our property is a perfectly normal abode not connected in any way to churches. However I came across them a few years back and they were happy to give insurance which included 90 day unoccupied for a pretty reasonable figure. I continue to renew with them without issue although I suppose they may no longer accept private individuals / properties.

That kind of insurance is slightly different from standard home insurance and comes at increased cost. I have used it before on a rental property we were doing up. Many companies don't offer the length of cover they used to since we voted for BREAKFAST. I don't see why that is, but something has changed.

Not got a quote yet but can confirm Tesco will let you go past 60 days but they then exclude so much that is covered that it is worthless for me. Frontier give 30,60,90 and 120 days. You specify at quote time and that is reflected in premium. Will update for the few on here who may find it useful.

Exclusions probably include escape of water and/or heating oil, vandalism, and intriguingly [we paid extra for this!], the suspension of cover for bathroom glass/mirrors and the obligation for the insurer to replace the entire bathroom suite, rather than the damaged sink, bath, shower singly. The Agent was unable to answer my query - 'If the property is unoccupied, with the bathroom glass and suite cover suspended, who is going to be sitting on the loo to break it? ...' :ROFLMAO:
