Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone knows of where I can obtain a couple of the pull down plastic mesh fly screen and catches for a 2001 Hobby 750.

I am having trouble finding a supply and dont really want to buy the whole cassette...ouch... Any 750's being broken?

Cheers :)

Hi Fugglestick i was looking at the hobby 750 range and quite like the layout and look of those motorhomes. What do you think of the 750,i looked at a nice one with leather interior it looked the buisness.Have heard opinions of them being not good quality, although the one i looked at was gorgous if i brought one it would be to full time in.

Hi Coola

Had our 750s since '04, and cant fault the Fiat bits or quality inside. The paint is a nightmare, it seems Hobby use all different tints and paint ends, so nothing matches. A couple of small electrolysis paint bubbles near the wheel arch which I will sort next year, and probably fit a sacrificial anode?? [ No comments Tattie22] LOL ...somewhere to try and stop it. Bought the tag axle versions to carry my morobike on the back, which is great and it doesn't know its there.
Hobby and Brownhills proved a complete pain to get service from, but as far as driving it goes, its brilliant. With a tag axle handles very well, is quick and a good payload for the wine.....Its a left hooker so great abroad. We keep thinking of changing it, but having had it chipped, it now goes very well with good mpg. [Shame I cant afford the diesel!! now]
Just need new window blinds and some one else's kids thought it great fun to poke little fingers through the mesh..Grrrrr.. Bless them.:)

Maybe look at just finding the mesh if the catches are working. It may be possible to refix a new piece and make a neat job of it.

Checked for mesh replacement, no go, also the catch is broken on a couple of them. Will have to keep using the rubber band to hold them down. The problem is, if the Mrs, is dressing and the blind flies up, it scares all the animal to death. Started a cattle stampede last July................
