Just booked Eurotunnel fora 3 weeks jouney.
Just 2 little questions:

- where can I get Avon 3s?
- which coins I would need to feed e.g pay + display machines? Are there
other coin operated services/facilities?

Hi otto,
sorry can't help with the Avon 3s, but you can use 5p 10p 20p 50p £1 and £2coins in most pay and display machines. Only other machines that you would need similar coins for would be coin operated BT public phones.

Hello Otto , a lot of the outdoor type shop,s around Scotland will sell avon Skin so soft, you may also be able to order it online at avon.uk.com , I dont know if you know or not but the west coast of Scotland is by far the most scenic, Enjoy your visit and pack a good warm jumper, Safe journey.

Hi otto,
when you drive off the I of Skye, go North to Shieldaig and stopover on the common land overlooking the Loch, a small donation is required in the honesty box at the gate on leaving, fresh water available at the gate and toilets below the site on the Loch side, and a nice Bar at the Hotel in the village. When rested travel the road to Kinlochewe, through Wester Ross, some great spots for wilding along this road.
Can you tell me, what are Avon 3s? never heard of the name.

Hi Corkey,
I think I know ´Scotland a little bit (as a German).
1st I had been there 1960 as a boy scout (hitch hiking) and wild camping in a tent.
2nd 1966 wild camping in a car.
3rd + 4th B&B with the car.

Now first journey in a MH

We always started going north at th west coast where we spent most of time and used the east coast mainly for our way down.

thanks for your kind words, I guess the S so Soft didn't work, you wouldn't know that I am only 40yrs

I maybe at Hayfield for the return party of the lads that are walking for charity, and Shiva the dog of course, but due around that time to head North over the border and eventualy the Outer Hebrides, so not decided yet.
Sept is a little too far off for any plans, but would like to see the trials.
Anymore on China??
