High Top back doors-2 doors or tailgate-which is better?

As title really.

I'm still looking for my Talbot Express or similar High Top and occasionally come across examples with tailgate(up & over) type back doors.
What do you all think of them?
Any pros & cons?

Up & Over back doors are usefull for shelter during impromptu picnics. They do need more space to open in supermarket car parks.
Swings and roundabouts. Analyse your needs.
