Never wild camped yet (Gayle is unsure) so we will be looking for lots of tips.

Once you've tried it a few times and realised the sky doesn't fall in you'll be OK.

You do have to be prepared for the odd "busybody" though but don't let that deter you.

If gayle is a little unsure try and make your first couple of trips parked near some other wilders safety in numbers as they say, soon you will find the confidence to go it alone and find that you really enjoy the wild side ,Put a post out and ask if anyone is going to the places you would like to go.

hi and welcome to the wildies ,and yes it is a great site with great members .as for the wilding its true after a couple of times you will get used to it ,as as been said try to be near someone at first even if it is a lorry parked up on a laybie for the night , and then as time goes by you will be hooked on wilding we have been down in s/wales since may and have not stayed on a camp site once
