Hi

Hi and welcome,

Bertie looks like a very nice conversion; make sure you don't lose him!
It looks as though he still has the original Ford-fitted Tibbe locks. These are easily picked using devices available on sites such as Amazon and eBay, and these devices can also provide the code required to order a new key. A key or lock pick opening the lock will also disarm a standard alarm system. The key can then be coded to the immobiliser using the OBD2 port.
There used to be a very comprehensive thread in the forums, detailing numerous options for improving security on Transit-based motorhomes, but it disappeared.
Solutions included replacing the Tibbe cylinder with one from Hykee or fitting deadlocks to the cab doors, fitting a locking metal box around the OBD2 port, fitting an alarm system that is independent of the door locks. Diskloks and pedal locks can be useful deterrents, but they will not prevent someone from gaining access through the cab doors and stealing contents.

Welcome from Bedfordshire.

Just visited your site and enjoyed seeing the conversion and reading the 'Trips' section.
